The seminar is implemented in cooperation with the Lifeguard Hellas Lifeguard School. Citizens will have the opportunity to be trained in the basic principles of lifeguarding, including methods of entering the water, approaching a victim through rescue swimming, holds for retrieving the victim, methods of transporting the victim, exiting the water, and finally, training in the provision of First Aid. A certificate of attendance will be provided.

On the day of the seminar, participants must bring the following items: swimsuit, swimming mask or goggles, flip-flops, towel, and swimming cap.

The seminar will take place at the swimming pool located at the Serafio of the Municipality of Athens, at the junction of Pireos and Petrou Ralli streets, from 10:00 to 14:00.
