At the City of Athens, we believe in the power of connectivity and the importance of directly meeting the needs of our citizens.
To this end, EXYPIRETO was created—a central hub where every citizen and professional within the Municipality of Athens, as well as the wider Athens metropolitan area, can easily and quickly find the free social services they need.
EXYPIRETO is a dynamic platform that ensures:
- Direct access to information: Services become easily accessible to those who need them—especially individuals who face difficulties in finding reliable information.
- Simple referral guidance: Information is organized systematically, enabling professionals to know exactly what is available and how to guide and refer individuals in need.
- Continuous updates: Users are promptly informed about the activities of the services and organizations participating in the platform.
- Reliability: Citizens, services, and organizations are part of an official City of Athens network that guarantees valid and updated information.
How EXYPIRETO Works
EXYPIRETO organizes and presents social services in a way that is clear and understandable to everyone, offering features such as:
- Keyword search corresponding to available free services (food assistance, housing, financial aid, psychological support, healthcare, etc.).
- Search optimization based on geographical criteria (postal code).
EXYPIRETO operates complementarily to the City of Athens ACCMR (Migrant and Refugee Coordination Center) platform, which aggregates corresponding information tailored to migrant and refugee populations.
